Former 2003 Ambush player and Grayson HS graduate, Andru Ghiuta-Florea has won the 2022 Youth Referee of the Year Award at the Annual General Meeting for Georgia Soccer.  Starting his refereeing career in 2016, you have probably seen Andru at a park around Atlanta this year doing a great job officiating youth soccer games.  Andru has represented Georgia in the Southern President's Cup in 2021 and the Southern Regionals in 2022.  Everyone at Ambush sends a big congratulations and we're very proud of you.  Andru continues to referee as much as possible balancing a busy schedule at Piedmont College where he also plays on the college team.  At Ambush, Andru played with Coach David Eristavi and Coach Timur Yakhin.
